I'm so happy I ordered this book! I received it last week and finished the whole thing in one sitting! As someone who interned in and now works in Fashion, I can tell you that Caroline's provided every single tip you could possibly need for breaking into the industry. I was able to connect with a lot of the things she said, and loved hearing about her journey. It breaks everything down into easy to read chapters, and has cute illustrations scattered throughout. As a side note, I met Caroline back when she worked in publishing, through an informational interview (which is something she suggests doing in her book)! She was so sweet and willing to help, which made me want to read this book even more! Definitely worth buying. I hope she comes out with more!!

This book is worth every penny! For anyone curious about the fashion industry it's a must read. It's written in such an engaging and approachable way. I read it so quickly because of how interesting and helpful it was. It makes the fashion industry seem attainable and not so far away. As an aspiring fashion illustrator it gave me such confidence that I really have a chance at my dream career! And it made me realize that my boring part time job isn't the only thing I can do. Caroline gives such great insight to what it's really like to attend a fashion show and gives great advice on the best way to get invited! But the best advice she gives, in my opinion, is how to break into the industry. We all know that it's not easy but, she makes it sound like it's really possible! It was so good I'm hoping for a second book! I really encourage any one interested in fashion to read this! So inspiring, as soon as I finished reading it I started applying for internships!
