Some of us listen to music to express ourselves throughout our many moods and we are sure Mr. Styles does the same. As a world-recognized star, creating music is not the only way he explores his identity. Throughout his interpersonal journey, he embraces fashion in a new way like never before. Making history, Harry Styles being the first male to cover American Vogue did it in style, shocking the world with unexpected looks that everyone was talking about.

More Than Just The White Suit

Gucci Cruise show in Rome in 2019, where he sang beside legendary Stevie Nicks, was styled in complete Gucci. His main inspiration comes from the Italian couture house where he has been featured in over four campaigns. At the show, he wore a double-breasted cream-colored suit. The pastel manicure he was touting was just as impactful as the clothing he was wearing.

Lights Up

The Lights Up music video revealed Harry Styles in a custom baby blue mesh button-up with matching trousers accompanied by white heel boots. Alessandro Michelle, the Creative Director of Gucci, did not hold back when creating this unique and unseen look. The custom outfit sent us back in time to the 1960s with the high-waisted flare pants and one-of-a-kind Gucci suspenders.

The Vest With A Twist

In over 125 years, American Vogue has not had a solo male cover the magazine but this year we got a surprise. When it was announced that Harry Styles would be on the December Issue fans, as well as the rest of the world, went insane — not only because he was about to be the first solo male to cover Vogue but rather his clothing preference for the shoot was unexpected. Styles embraced his feminine side for a world-recognized platform. The Wales Bonner Knitted sweater was accompanied by a kilted skirt from the same brand and a JW Anderson belt.

“Bring Back Manly Men”

In a custom Palomo Spain Suit, Styles took it to Instagram, where he has over 35 million followers, to post a photo of him enjoying a banana to clap back at Republican Candance Owens who had a lot to say about his fashion choices. The banana certainly made a statement and the caption threw some shade by putting “Bring Back Manly Men'' as a direct reference to Owens comment. Quickly, millions knew exactly what he was referring to and he received support from all his fans, even Karamo Brown and Tan France from Queer Eyes.

THE Gucci

The iconic custom Gucci dress, designed by Alessandro Michelle, consisted of a double-breasted tuxedo jacket over the periwinkle-colored Gucci dress that had everyone shaking in their boots. Not only does Harry Styles look amazing in a dress, but he has gotten the chance to embrace his identity while showing men that it is more than acceptable to embrace all sides of themselves through fashion.
