A Love Letter to Leather

As the leaves fall and the temperature drops, one of the most reliable materials we tend to lean toward is leather. The trends often change with the seasons, but leather is a sleek and chic classic that never goes out of style and has proven over time to be an investment; however, gone are the days of predictable cold-weather leather styles. The material that was once reserved for footwear, accessories and jackets has now evolved into dresses, pants and coordinating crop tops. Endless designers are now also producing vegan-friendly leather options that are cruelty free and 100% faux. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite leather statement pieces for you to take a look at!

Oversized Blazer

Bring your blazer game fashion-forward by rocking a leather one. Pair it with jeans or coordinating trousers for a next-level fall ‘fit. You can stick with sleek black or opt for a neutral brown or even a pop of color. You can’t go wrong with an oversized blazer instead of a traditional trench this fall!

Cargo Pants

Leather (faux or real) leggings are not only timeless and chic, but a little bit predictable. The cargo pant style is unexpected, fun, and can instantly dress up your next casual dinner outfit. You can pair them with either combat boots or a fun heel for two extremely different looks that will both instantly turn heads!

Wrap Dress

Who said leather is just for jackets? Much like those who said “orange is the new pink”, they must be seriously disturbed! The flattering and forgiving fit of a smock dress like this one is always in fashion, and made of leather (or leather-looking material), it is instantly elevated and adds a new level of chic to the silhouette. Worn with bare legs or opaque tights, stilettos or chunky boots, you’re bound to make an entrance wherever you wear it!

Bustier

A leather bustier is the perfect addition to spice up any fall outfit. You can wear it alongside a skirt and your favorite highest heels for your next girls’ night out, or with a pair of sneakers and wide-leg jeans for a more casual setting. There’s no wrong way to wear it, as long as you’re rocking it with confidence!

Boots

A staple of cold weather fashion is the classic riding boot. It goes without saying that over the years, trends in boots have evolved. While we love a good heel and a statement piece, sometimes simplicity goes a long way. Riding boots can pair with mini or maxi dresses, and jeans or leggings. They can take a casual outfit up a notch without being too extra, and are the epitome of simplistic chic.
